GMCS wins 2A Football State Title PDF Print E-mail

The GCMS Falcons capped off an undefeated 14-0 season with a thrilling 38-32 victory over Maroa-Forsyth in the IHSA 2A football championship game at Huskie Stadium in DeKalb.  The win was the third consecutive 2A championship for the HOIC with Tri-Valley winning in 2015 and Dee-Mack in 2016.  Congratulations to the Falcons!

 
HOIC Spring Champions PDF Print E-mail

Eureka softball finished the HOIC schedule undefeated (11-0) and also won the HOIC tournament while Tremont baseball (11-1) also won both the regular season and tournament championships.  In track and field, Eureka swept the boys and girls McLean County Track Meets.  The top three schools in the girls meet were Eureka, Tremont, and El Paso-Gridley.  On the boys side, Eureka, Dee-Mack, and Ridgeview-Lexington finished as the top three.  Congratulations to all the winners and best of luck to all HOIC schools in the IHSA post season.

HOIC Conference Basketball Champs PDF Print E-mail

The Eureka girls finished 13-0 to win the HOIC title in girls basketball in their inaugural year in the conference.  The boys championship was shared between Ridgeview and Tremont.  Both teams finished 12-1 in conference play.  Congratulations to all the conference champs!
