EPG Boys, GCMS Girls Win McLean County/HOIC Track Meet PDF Print E-mail

The El Paso-Gridley boys outscored 2nd place Tremont 108-99 to capture the HOIC boys track championship while GCMS's girls notched their sixth straight championship defeated runner-up EPG's girls 98-75.  Congratulations to all of the participants and best of luck in the upcoming sectionals.  Click here for Pantagraph coverage of the meet:  http://bit.ly/1KhtAGm

Ridgeview Boys, Tremont Girls Win Regular Season Basketball Titles PDF Print E-mail

Ridgeview's boys basketball team and Tremont's girls basketball team both finished their respective conference seasons with perfect 12-0 records to capture regular season titles in each sport.  Congratulations to both teams on a great season.

HOIC Art Festival PDF Print E-mail

The Heart of Illinois Conference Art Festival was held Friday April 10th at Heartland Community College.  Students from HOIC schools were able to display artwork and participate in a variety of art workshops.  Karlie Uphoff from El Paso-Gridley won Best in Show for her sculpture "Van Gogh," which was made entirely of aluminum cans.

Ridgeview Boys Basketball Places 3rd at State Tourney PDF Print E-mail

The Ridgeview Mustangs downed Forreston 53-35 to capture 3rd place in the 2015 IHSA 1A State Basketball Tournament.  Congratulations to the Mustangs for representing the HOIC well at state.  HOIC schools have now won 37 state trophies (1st through 4th place) in various sports since the conference began play in the 2006-2007 school year.
