Tri-Valley Football Finishes as 1A State Runner-Up PDF Print E-mail

Tri-Valley lost a tough one to Lena-Winslow 28-21 at the IHSA Class 1A Football State Championship Friday Nov. 29th at NIU's Huskie Stadium in DeKalb to finish as state runner-up.  The loss was the Vikings' first in what was a tremendous season.  Tri-Valley is now the second HOIC football team to claim a state trophy since the conference began play in 2006.  Lexington was the 1A runner-up in 2009.  Congratulations to Tri-Valley for representing the HOIC so well throughout their great playoff run.
