Two former HOIC athletic directors were recently inducted into the Illinois Athletic Directors Association Hall of Fame. Charlie Lockenour (Heyworth) and Dan Wieczorek (Fieldcrest) earned this honor after years of service to their schools and profession. Congratulations to two very deserving hall of famers.

Spring Sports Champs

Spring sports have concluded with Dee-Mack baseball and Tremont softball claiming HOIC championships. In track and field, Eureka won both the boys and girls McLean County Track Meet to claim HOIC supremacy. Congratulations to these spring sports HOIC champions!

The HOIC football season, abbreviated by the changes caused by the pandemic, concluded with three undefeated teams. Fieldcrest (4-0) finished atop the Large School division while LeRoy and Tremont each finished 3-0 in the Small School division.

Tri-Valley completed an undefeated 12-0 season to capture the 2021 HOIC regular season championship. Dee-Mack and Eureka finished 10-2 to tie for second place. Congratulations to the Vikings!

Eureka completed an undefeated season to claim the 2021 HOIC girls basketball conference championship. Tremont finished second at 11-1 and Fieldcrest was third at 10-2.

Fieldcrest and LeRoy will share the boys basketball crown. Both teams finished 11-1 in conference play. Eureka placed third with a 10-2 mark.
