Fieldcrest Girls, EPG Boys Win McLean County Basketball Tournament Titles

imageThe 2022 McLean County Basketball Tournament took place Jan. 15-22.
GIRLS — On the girls side, top-seeded Fieldcrest defeated #3 Eureka for the title. It was the first time since joining the conference in 2016 that Eureka did not win the championship. #2 Tremont downed #4 Dee-Mack in the 3rd place game. #6 Ridgeview defeated #5 EPG for 5th place. #9 LeRoy won the consolation championship over #11 Fisher.

The HOIC football season, abbreviated by the changes caused by the pandemic, concluded with three undefeated teams. Fieldcrest (4-0) finished atop the Large School division while LeRoy and Tremont each finished 3-0 in the Small School division.

Tri-Valley Finishes Undefeated to Capture HOIC Title
